We currently have 7 places left.
Day 1: Enjoy the 1.5-hour scenic drive from our Saranac Lake headquarters to the quaint town of Indian Lake, where the adventure begins with a full day of whitewater rafting Class III-IV rapids on the Hudson River, surrounded by pristine southern Adirondack wilderness. Unwind with well-deserved, post rafting libations, then return to Base Camp for a stellar dinner followed by a cozy campfire, s’mores, games, and camaraderie. When it’s time to turn in, retire to the spacious Crua Loj (up to 4 people) or the cozy Crua Tri (up to 2 people) for what’s sure to be the best night’s sleep you’ve had in a tent.
Day 2: Fill up with a delicious hot breakfast and coffee head out with our guides on one of the lesser explored gems in the Whiteface region, a moderate 3.6-mile round-trip hike up Catamount Mountain. Scramble the final chimney section of the trail to discover spectacular 360-degree summit views of the surrounding mountains. Take the long road back to Base Camp and explore nearby waterfalls and covered bridges, and enjoy a pitstop at a local brewery. Return to Base Camp for a delicious meal and relax by the fire.
Day 3: Stretch your legs and warm up with backcountry breakfast and coffee, then join our guides on a short, easy day hike exploring the beauty of the park just outside of town. Return to Saranac Lake, stroll the charming Main Street, visit the unique local shops, and enjoy a late group lunch before departing around 2:00 – 3:00 pm.
