Q

How did you discover your love for fishing?

A

When your fly line is floating through the air effortlessly, then it floats quietly to a hungry trout, you can’t help but be hooked. Where I discovered my passion for fishing was on the river here in Utah, catching world-class trout with my brothers and dad. This passion has taken me to The Rockies, rolling hills of Wyoming, and outreaches of Alaska. I tie my own flies and get to see fish gulp up the Product of my creativity. It’s like being an artist with your canvas floating through the air on the end of a line. I love it. I could write a similar description of my passion for hunting as well.

Q

What’s the best place you’ve ever fished?

A

A.L.A.S.K.A. Bar none.

Q

If you could go camping with anyone in the world (dead or alive), who would it be and why?

A

I would love to take LeBron James. He is obviously the greatest ball player on earth, and I would love to see his excitement for the outdoors. I’m certain I could get him hooked on fishing.

Q

What’s your goal for 2018, camping, or non-camping related?

A

I just got back from fishing in Alaska. In August I am scheduled for another hunting adventure. What tent am I bringing on this mountaineering venture? My Hybrid! Next I have an antelope hunt in Nevada as well as a fall season mule deer hunt. This winter I want to do some winter camp outs in the Wasatch Mountains with my brother Jeremy. Come spring, I want to back pack the Wasatch Alpine lakes. Zion, Arches, and Cedar Breaks NP are on my schedule too. Busy. Busy. Busy. Oh and San Diego is mine for he next 7 days!

Q

What’s your favorite slogan/quote ?

A

Just do it
