Q

How did you discover your love for photography?

A

I've always loved travels and photography, I think they're two passions that work well together. I've been very lucky because thanks to my parents, I have traveled around the world since I was a baby.  I never stop traveling and I hope I never will.
Some years ago, I realized the happiness I feel doing outdoor activity, spending nights in uncontaminated places, making wild camp and enjoying the strong contact with nature. I have also gotten more professional with my photography, studying and practicing a lot and buying better gear.  I love how a camera can catch a lot more than our eyes. I was shocked when I saw the first milky way in the camera, and traveling to such wild places with no light pollution. I'm literally seduced by the nightscape I see above my head.

Q

What’s the best place you’ve ever photographed?

A

This one is difficult. We all know the best destinations for photography, but it depends what are you looking for. Regarding landscape photography, best places I've been are Iceland, Norway, Faroe Islands, Patagonia, Dolomiti, Scotland, Canada, Vietnam, Lofoten.
I think every country has his own beauty, it just depends what you like. If I have to choose, maybe Iceland is the country with the most stunning "must see" in a small area.  But I also love sandy beaches, tropical islands, big deserts, wild forests.. the entire world is beauty.

Q

If you could share your photography with anyone in the world (dead or alive), who would it be and why?

A

I'd share my passion in travel and photography with people who are afraid of traveling alone, afraid to visit non-tourist places, afraid to live in the nature, afraid to break the routine, just to show them how fantastic would be.

Q

What’s your goal for 2018, photography, or non-photography related?

A

I've planned a lot of travels for the year, and I can't wait to face them all.  I have improved my camera gear again and I recently bought a professional drone (I'm actually very exciting about this, it's incredible how many perspectives you can have with a drone, finding the best way to scale where you are, in a sand dune, in a 700m cliff, in a peak of a mountain). I'm also looking forward to updating my outdoor gear with lighter, but stronger equipment to bring with me during my travels.

Q

What’s your favorite slogan/quote ?

A

You must be the change you want to see.
