Sweden

Nature loving human, exploring the wilderness of Scania, Sweden, Scandinavia & beyond.

Q

How did you discover your love for bushcraft?

A

For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved being outdoors, hiking, canoeing, camping and just exploring the wild. Over time, I’ve realized that I appreciate the simple but comfortable camp life just as much as the bigger adventures. And when the camp life becomes a more prominent part of your outdoor experience, it comes natural to try to develop those kind of skills.

Q

How did your photography and bushcraft skills first merge together?

A

I wanted to spare my less outdoorsy friends from all my nature and camp photos on my personal Instagram page so I decided to start a separate one. I’m not a photographer but I enjoy taking photos that convey a feeling of the good, simple life outdoors.

Q

What is the number one spot in Sweden that you would advise tourists to visit?

A

Sweden is an amazing place to visit for those who love the outdoors, with our right to roam and easy access to the land. It’s hard to just name one spot since we are a far-stretched land with lots of different environments – from rocky beech forests down south, to beautiful archipelagos, vast boreal forests and thousands of secluded lakes and rivers. But if I have to name one place, it would be somewhere along the Scandes mountain range, preferably in early autumn when the mountains are glowing in yellow and red.

Q

What’s your goal for 2018 ?

A

My goals are the same as every year – to get out and enjoy the wild as much as I can, both on shorter trips and day hikes and on a few longer adventures.

Q

What’s your favorite slogan/quote ?

A

Less is more. It holds true for every aspect in life.
