Crua Rooftop Tent Multi-Functional Awning

I purchased this for it's size and shape and hoped it would work as a fast erect canopy for my van and it has worked far better that expected. It has so many fixing points, you can make it form so many different shapes for the weather conditions.
It is super tough and very solid in high winds. The pegs, guy-ropes etc are solid and well made and will last.
It gives a super amount of cover on my VW T5 and is very good at sheltering you from the wind.
Vert adapatble and worth the money.

Had it out once. Didn’t attach it to the tent just rigged it up off trees and the poles. The reflective material makes a huge temp difference. It was nice to create some extra shade at our camp site; easily big enough for 6. The folding sides are nice when the sun gets low.

I have the AER (2-3 person) rooftop tent and have been using the Crua tarp and poles to create an outside space out of the rain when I camp. It worked ok but I was excited to see an awning option being offered specifically for my tent. I used the awning for the first time this past weekend and it worked great. It was super windy when I tried to set it up but was still able to get it up on my own and it stayed in place without issue. I love that it comes with poles but can also be staked down. I tried it out both ways and was able to keep my chairs and firewood dry when it rained with the awning staked down. I love the continued innovation to this camping system and can't wait to see what Crua comes up with next. The quality of everything I have gotten from Crua is outstanding and their customer service is top notch. I highly recommend them.
