Still have my crua hammock tent from the original Kickstarter. 4+ years later every straps, zippers, seams, and cloth still in amazing condition. I lived in and out of this tent for just over 1 year for the first year and have continued to use several times a year so I have not been a light user. The original bag tore this year on the Cheyenne River camping trip I take. If you need a easy one person tent it's #1 also decently light have hiked and camped with it. The sleep pad cloud be wider only complaint 6ft 180lb.
Good tent. Fabric seems less durable than the lawson hammock, but this is admirable in it’s pursuits.
Finally received my Crua Hybrid Mk2. After a little confusion correcting an address mistake. I finally got it and I’m impressed. Perfect amount of room. Puts together really well and fast! A bit of a learning curve with the instructions but they’re enough to get by… love how everything goes together on the ground. Going to test it out in the trees this weekend.
This thing is amazing I've set up in rain in hammock mode, I've also had it set up on a 30 degree night on the ground thing keeps you warm, doesn't take much to set up but I think you guys need to get Derek out the and do a detailed video on setup only thing I can't figure out is the 4 orange bungee cords with the 2 hooks fly sheet I'm guessing?
Gave my new crua hybrid a try this weekend in prep for a Colorado backcountry trip this fall. First let me say that, at age 56, I knew it was a no-brainer to get up off the ground and I was correct - slept like a baby and I can’t do that on the ground without a heavy inflatable mattress. Secondly, I was disappointed to find that the fly zipper arrived effectively broken /disengaged but was thrilled to get a cell phone call from a customer service rep 20 minutes after I left the customer service email and she allowed me to call her back on her cell phone, picked up right away, and then said she would send me a brand new tent fly free of charge!! I could have fixed it on my own but likely would have cost me an hour of my time - so now thrilled with the product and also thrilled with the customer service just as much!!!! Five stars!!
