I have used my crua cocoon indoors and inside garden gazebos in Scotland. When the heating failed in mid winter by my seaside accommodation in Edinburgh i pulled out my cocoon and laid it on the double bed and slept beautifully for the 3 weeks before i headed south to England. The cocoon was a life saver helping my small dog and myself sleep comfortably in the warmth of the 0 and sub zero degree nights. So versatile and easy to use pack and unpack. This tent is easy to set up, fast! It’s warm, dark, cozy! It fits setup inside my SUV! Perk! Love it!

I got the culla that was big enough for my cot and room to move around in. It sets up super easily and takes down easily and packs up better than I expected. Cuts down on both sounds and light so it is ideal for bright campgrounds. It really opened up the cooler months for tent camping.

Just wow! I used this with my Duo Maxx tent I bought off Crua and to say I had a great sleep would be an understatement. The difference this made for camping is outstanding. Well done Crua what a great product.

Just recieved the Crua Culla family tonight. I set it right up in the living room. I was really impressed how quickly and easily it set up. My kids were quick to get in it and take a look around. They all thought it was very comfortable and my oldest said that it instantly made him feel tired. It's quite dark inside so it had the same effect on me. I can't wait to get out and do some camping. I can tell already that we're going to love it!!

It is like having a tent made out of sleeping bag material. We used it camping in late August in Colorado over 10k feet. We did set it up inside our larger tent as this tent is not water proof. I think it got down into the 30s at night and we stayed comfortable only using a sleeping bag as a cover. I bought a small hand pump as this uses air filled tubes instead of poles for structure. It takes seconds to setup and take down. It takes very few pumps to fill up the tubes and simply opening them to deflate and roll up the tent like a sleeping bag.

I’d never used any type of tent insulation liner before this one, but now that I have, it’ll be hard to go back. It’s definitely kept me nice and warm in these fall months.

The first thing to note about this is that it’s a bit heavier (solid 15 to 20 lbs). Having to carry both this and you’re your tent means that you’ll definitely want to be parked near your campsite. Not really a problem for us casual campers, though. Also, the instructions emphasize that it does need to be used with a waterproof tent (I’d imagine the insulation is goose down, so any rain would kill its insulative properties).

Set up and tear down was way easier than expected. You just lay it out on the floor of the tent and then inflate the two built in air tubes using an air pump (fairly quick). These act as the frame and are used in place of traditional tent poles. A zipper pocket lets you expose the tubes for replacement, but based on how durable they were, I doubt they’d ever need replacing. After that, you just shift it around in the tent so it settles into place and that’s it.
