Love it!!!

I learned about Crua from watching Baum Outdoors on YouTube. I looked at a few of your tents and chose this one. We have had it almost a year. We have taken it out in 32 degree temps and with three of use inside, it never went below 50 degrees. It IS bulky and so we don’t plan to take it out as much in the summer as our old cheap Walmart tent is bigger, but it has allowed us to now camp in spring, fall and winter. I have also recently purchased the porch to go with it and love it as a place to hide our supplies and change clothes OR to cook and hang out if it were to rain.

Crua tent

Pretty awesome tent, i love the space inside an I'm 6.5 or 198 cm.
I love the darkness and helps me push my sleep further in the morning. Also the sound proofing is not 100% but the sound muffling helps transfer any direct noise into something i can fall asleep with. The insulation is great for the night and keep the tents cool in the sunny morning but it doesn't last for ever, around 9ish 10 in a Sumer day you will want to get out of there. If not the tent at least my body produce enough heat to accumulate with the heat outside, its better then a regular tent though as my experience with them is that you need to get out of the tent as soon as the sun is on it.

Thank you Pierre! Good sleep is what we all need while camping, we are glad, that we could help you with that:)
Happy Camping,
Crua Crew

Three years later

I had the pleasure of purchasing my Crua Tri three years ago with the intention of using it solely for my wife and me at festivals here in Colorado. Three years, two dogs, and a precocious 2-year-old daughter later, I can tell you that this tent has been our invaluable home away from home. The construction and materials look like new despite over a dozen multi-day excursions in heat, sleet, and snow. The insulation kept us warm in the winter and fall months including a night that bottomed out at 0 deg F and the material for the outer shell kept us shielded from the baking sun when it topped out over 100. Truly a 4 season tent.

My only complaints are about the lack of light needed to see your way around during the day, but that complaint is quickly diminished by that moment you wake up in the blackout of the Crua Tri to realize that it's 9am and your campmates had to wake up with the sun.

Enjoy your purchase, I know I have.

Most Awesome! Thanks for Creating!

Used this tent much more than a year now, with several great night sleeps and afternoon naps…. The quilted inner liner is a game changer!!! Also added available exterior solar shade… Combined with the wind shedding design, awesome solutions for balancing/buffering out the realities of tent camping in sunny, rainy, windy and some times noisy State Parks in Florida. I’ve added a small portable AC unit to cool against our ambient, hot/humid subtropical weather, the extra layers works perfectly together as a balanced system…
My wife is not an avid camper yet, however, she admits the tent is comfortable and has zero complaints about sleeping arrangements. Dog loves it as well, I know this because she retreats to the tent every chance she gets.

Worth every penny...

My husband and I started camping last year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and now we enjoyed hiking, canoeing, and mountain biking. Needless to say, we needed a tent that was going to match our new lifestyle and after months of research, we brought the Crua Tri. We were concerned with the price but after receiving it and testing it the tent is worth every penny. We went camping to one of the many Minnesota state parks and had the opportunity to put it to the test since that the temperature was 20 degrees F and had 35 mph wind, we had to stay inside the tent for the majority of the day and the inside of the tent was nice and toasty, we didn't even need our winter sleeping bag!! My only concern is the hot summer days, the next day of our trip the temperature went up to 65 degrees and the inside of the tent got very hot due to the insulation. I'm hoping that once I receive the reflective flysheet the temperature will get better. I will like to have the option of a summer cacoon, something lighter than the winter cacoon it currently comes with. Overall, fantastic tent, the quality is evident and the resistance is unquestionable and even comes with a porch to store gear and muddy boots, I'm a Crua fan and will continue to use their products.

Amazing tent

Bought the Crua Tri, did a lot of comparing for about a year but kept coming back to the Crua Tri with a Hydrostatic Head of 5,000mm yet its breathable and a R-Value of 9 (for those who dont know what R-Value is basically a R-Value of 9 means it's good down to -40 farenheit, negative 40). Its a bit on the heavy side but when I do winter snow camping I drop the tent on sled along with other items and pull it along with a full back pack and I have no problems. Keeps me warm and toasty with small tent heater on an hour before bed in -5 with wind chill of -15.

Lookin for a lifetime of enjoyment

I've been searching for a four season tent just to get out and enjoy the outdoors whenever time allows. I just kept coming back to the Crua Outdoors product line. Compared to others I looked at it looks well thought out and engineered materials are top quality, manufacturing looks like time and effort were put into the assembly of the Crua products. I decided to purchase the Crua Tri ( three person tent ) and I can't wait for it to arrive and I'm sure it will live up to my expectations.

Glamp your heart out!

The Crua Tri is glamping at its best! I love the outdoors but am not a hardcore camper by any stretch, mainly because the conditions tend to be more than my family is up for. In the past we have often opted for cabins over tents for comfort sake. This tent seems like a legitimate option for our family of four to be able to do some 3 season (maybe 4?) family camping. First off this thing is super spacious! Lots of room for our inflatable mattress plus sleeping pads. Easy to set up and I love the way the anchor cords are designed (you can adjust the length very easily). Extra stakes provided and the tabs on the cords even glow in the dark! My two favorite features are the "porch" area which allows you to be under cover yet outside of the tent and it makes a great transitional area for shoes and other items you don't want in the tent getting things dirty and lastly the blanket lined insulation- its SO plush! Its like the entire inside of the tent becomes a sleeping bag. I used this feature on our last trip which ended up being in the mid 30s over night (BRRRRR). It was still a little cold but the blanket lining seemed to perform as promised (at least a 10 degree difference in the tent with it). Over all, the price is a little more than I would normally spend for a tent but if you consider what it costs to stay in cabins versus camping it should pay for itself in a season or two if use. Looking forward to getting back out in it!
