Camping spots in the US are extremely varied: you could camp on coastline shores, in the desert, in national parks or even in woodland. Whether you love being at one with nature, or you want a little more comfort while on your next camping adventure, the scenery surrounding many campsites in the US is unforgettable, especially if you are staying in one of these picturesque and 5 most beautiful campsites in the US.
At Crua we know camping is not just for the hardcore or nostalgic. We know it is tough when you have kids. We got 'em, too, so our designs and experiences are your experiences too. We want to share the joy of the outdoors with everyone and make it easier for anyone to experience camping, anywhere. In the desert, the snow or even on a roof for crying out loud, we will literally find ways to make our shelters suit your needs.
We’ve already covered camping in Texas, and California as well as many other locations in the US and elsewhere. However, camping is a lot more than just pitching a tent. It’s about experiencing nature in the best way possible. When you go camping, you ideally want to be outside for the majority of the time, so finding a beautiful campsite that has a lot to offer in terms of views, wildlife and activities is really important.

Campsites With Gorgeous Views
Hidden Valley Campground, Joshua Tree National Park, California: Joshua Tree National Park is a unique desert experience with the campground located at the center of the park. Named after Joshua Trees, the park is located between the Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert and the campground is surrounded by large boulders and of course the trees themselves. It is a beautiful desert landscape with a sunset you wouldn’t want to miss out on. The campground becomes even more gorgeous when the colors of the sky light up the rugged and vast terrain.
Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park, Kauai, Hawaii: This coastline is one of the most recognizable and beautiful in the world and is a breathtaking destination you should visit at least once in your lifetime. The narrow valleys, waterfalls and flowing streams all meet at the sea surrounding this picturesque island. If you are looking for a real adventure then this is the spot for you! The campsites Hanakoa, Kalalau and Milolii are only accessible from the ocean. If you are searching for activities then why not try the Na Pali Coast Hike, kayaking, stargazing, or trekking to some of the stunning waterfalls. And, make sure not to miss out on seeing the stone walled terraces found at the valley bottoms: places where Hawaiians once lived!
North Rim Campground, Grand Canyon, Arizona: The North Rim Campground is situated on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. The Canyon has abundant wildlife (wild coyotes and deer!), and hiking trails and is a bucket list item for many. This is hardly surprising as the Grand Canyon is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The campground is at an elevation of 8,200 ft and it offers rustic views of the canyon. Although hiking the Grand Canyon is by far the most popular tourist activity, campers can also enjoy biking and rafting during their stay.
Apgar Campground, Glacier National Park, Montana: Apgar Campground is located on the southern tip of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. The Park is home to forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains and gorgeous lakes. With over 700 miles of hiking trails, it is a hikers paradise! Look out for the mountain goats and grizzly bears. Other than hiking, you can take up guided horseback riding, rent a kayak, or simply relax and take in the natural beauty of this National Park.
Echo Park Campground, Dinosaur National Monument, Colorado: Located along the Green River, the Echo park Campground provides a once in a lifetime experience in Dinosaur National Monument, with Steamboat Rock dominating the view. When staying in the campground don’t be too surprised if Bighorn sheep and mule deer are roaming around. Hiking trails take you to the confluence of the Green and Yampa Rivers with views of the Mitten Park. Make sure to take full advantage of being in this unique location with fascinating archaeological history to read about.
Best Tents For Your Camping Trip
Our connectable tents are used by themselves or in little connected groups. This clan set of tents is our best selling and can be used individually or attached together - a living room and up to 3 bedrooms off the main room, pretty neat and unique. The Crua Core is the central tent in this series, and with two side panels in the porch, it gives a great panoramic view from your pitch. The Core’s awesomeness doesn’t end there. As a key part of our modular tent series, it can be combined in multiple ways with the Crua Duo, Crua Culla, Crua Duo Maxx, or Crua Culla Maxx. How you use it, all depends on the number of friends and family members for which you need to cater.
Our Mór tents are ideal for larger groups and longer stays. The tents are secure, breathable, and noise dampening, helping you to have a great night sleep, where you are cut off from nature’s elements. The breathable polycotton used to make the tent's inner lining and flysheet as well as the waterproof TPU laminate on the flysheet's underside, means you don't have to worry about condensation turning your tent into a "slip 'n slide".
